Technology - International

To date, Casetech Australia has received a number of expressions
of interest for the acquisition of HydroMaster technology, and this
eventuated through the company’s industry networks.
In particular, the following countries have expressed their interest.
United States
The enquirer is a major environmental company specialising in coal
remediation. They have developed new technology using coir and have
expressed serious commercial interest in the technology package.
This company has offered to fund a visit from the principles of
Casetech to further discuss the opportunity. This producer currently
uses 80-100 40FCL containers [or bales] per month in their product
production. HydroMaster technology would reduce their container
rate by about 50%. The coir products are compressed at a rate of
5:1 whilst the product they are currently using is compressed at
2:1. The economies of scale are obvious.
Canada
Initial discussions have commenced with two potential purchasers.
One, a sphagnum peat company, operating in the horticultural and
industrial sectors. As the world wide supply of sphagnum is becoming
limited [a non renewable resource] this company must find an alternative
resource. Secondly, they believe that coir products would be a suitable
resource for their industrial applications, and in particular, filtration
systems.
The second Canadian company is the second largest hydroponics distributor
in North America and is desirous of obtaining the full technology
licensed package.
Further, the HydroMaster has significant cost saving for producers
because the production process is simpler, faster and more efficient.
Preliminary enquires have also been received from Japan and Egypt.
These enquiries have been directed to Casetech via their existing
commercial networks. To date the company has not begun to market
the potential of HydroMaster in the international market.
