Services
Based on our years of horticultural experience, Casetech offer
a wide range of services including...
Potting
In addition to supplying growing media in bulk, we also offer the value
added service of supplying the growing media in pots.
Our commercial grade machinery and flexible workforce can handle the
largest quantities to meet tight deadlines.
You supply us the pots, and we will fill them.
We can also supply pots if required.
Water and Nutrient Testing
It is important that you receive information on your crop quickly
so that you are able to make any necessary adjustments immediately
and not wait until it is too late.
Casetech Australia offers water and nutrient testing services with
a 48 hour turnaround from 2.pm Wednesday once a week. This will
include a complete pH, EC, NPK and trace element tests if required.
If required we are able to discuss results and assist with any
changes to feeding regimes or crop management that may be considered
necessary.
Integrated Pest Management
IPM stands for Integrated Pest Management. People often think of
IPM as being a complete alternative to the spraying of insecticides,
but the appropriate word in IPM is integrated, it is intended to
reduce your chemical usage, increase crop health and performance
by using predators to reduce and control infestations of pests in
various crops.
A good IPM programme requires the commitment of the grower to see
the programme through and an IPM consultant that can commit to the
time it takes with the grower to establish and train in house staff
to be vigilant over the crop and react quickly to a pest outbreak.
When implemented by someone who understands and is prepared to commit
to the time required. IPM can make a difference to the health and
performance of a crop.
At Casetech Australia we believe that IPM has an important role
to play in crop management in the future.

Bio Innoculants
We currently offer a range of bio inoculant products ranging from
Tricoderma, Nematodes and some strains of bacteria. We find that
these innoculants work best when placed in an environment that is
best suited for them to freely populate and establish themselves
as a major microbial population.
Bio innoculants have been developed today for effective use in
root zones as a foliar spray and for application through fertigation.
We have a range of bio innoculants that are suited for each type
of delivery system such as media treatment, foliar spray and fertigation.
These bio innoculants can be formulated for specific crops.
We have used them to encourage root development in young plants.
They offer resistance against detrimental fungi or moulds and under
the right conditions have found them to be beneficial for early
plant establishment and there is some circumstantial evidence of
improved yields in various crops.
Trichoderma is a group of natural occurring beneficial fungus.
In the growing media Trichoderma suppresses the growth of other
fungi such as pythium.
